I was in a quandary. Make $5 more per skateboard sale or support the US Skateboard Manufacturing industry? I had several different options. Work with a Southern California company who has their manufacturing done in Mexico, but started here, import from China or work with a US manufacturer. $5 doesn't sound like a huge amount, but it took me two straight weeks of restless nights weighing profit v. Summum Bonum (greater good in Latin for my younger readers). Ultimately I decided on a couple of bucks, rather than a couple of bucks plus $5 and to support the US Manufacturing sector and sleep well at night. I've been having really cool dreams since.
